Mr. Do Ngoc Quynh Joined FiinRatings as a Board Member and Vice-Chairman

On March 15, 2024, FiinRatings Joint Stock Company is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Do Ngoc Quynh, General Secretary of Vietnam Bond Market Association (VBMA) as an independent board member for the term 2024-2028.

On March 15, 2024, FiinRatings Joint Stock Company is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Do Ngoc Quynh, General Secretary of Vietnam Bond Market Association (VBMA) as an independent board member for the term 2024-2028.

Accordingly, at the 2024 Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders, the General Meeting of Shareholders approved the additional election of Mr. Do Ngoc Quynh to FiinRatings Board of Directors for the term 2024 - 2028. The Board of Directors of FiinRatings also elected Mr. Do Ngoc Quynh to hold the role of Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Company on the same day.

Thus, the Board of Directors of FiinRatings for the term 2024 - 2028 has 4 members, including: Mr. Nguyen Quang Thuan (Chairman), Mr. Do Ngoc Quynh (Vice-Chairman), Mr. Nguyen Huu Hieu (also Chief Executive Officer of Vietnam FiinGroup Joint Stock Company), and Mr. Nguyen Minh Tu (Chief Operating Officer of FiinRatings).

Mr. Do Ngoc Quynh is a well-known financial and investment professional in Vietnam with over 27 years of experience in banking and finance. He is currently General Secretary of Vietnam Bond Market Association (VBMA), the non-profit organization where he was one of the key founding team’s members since 2009. He is also working as an independent director at a number of Vietnamese dynamic enterprises where he advocates for a better corporate governance and transparency in growing such enterprises. Previously, he worked as Deputy General Director at Sovico Group from 2022 to 2023, Chairman of HDCAPITAL Fund Management Company in 2023, Chief Executive Officer at VNDirect Securities from 2020-2022. Before that, he spent 22+ years (from1997 to 2019) of working in BIDV head office in different positions including credit officer, FX&MM dealer, head of the curr trading dept, CEO of BIDV International Hongkong and head of treasury.

Adding independent members to FiinRatings' Board of Directors enhances corporate governance and aligns with the company's strategic objectives, fostering growth in Vietnam's credit rating industry and promoting the healthy and sustainable development of the capital market.
