Vietnam Sustainable Finance Webinar 2025: Meeting International and Vietnam’s Green Standards.

In recent years, Vietnam has demonstrated a strong commitment to sustainable development and climate action, with increasing recognition of the critical role financial markets play in mobilizing capital for green initiatives. Following Vietnam’s pledge at COP26 to achieve net-zero emissions by 2050 and the government’s approval of the National Green Growth Strategy 2021–2030, the need to develop a comprehensive sustainable finance framework aligned with international practices has become more urgent than ever.

Within this context, FiinRatings is pleased to organize the "Vietnam Sustainable Finance Webinar 2025" on Thursday, May 29, 2025. The event aims to support issuers, investors, and stakeholders in preparing for the implementation of the Vietnam Green Taxonomy and to promote the adoption of international sustainable finance standards in Vietnam. 

FiinRatings is a pioneer in credit rating and green finance certification in Vietnam. The webinar will be held online and is expected to attract over 150 participants, including representatives from issuers, financial institutions, domestic and international institutional investors, regulatory authorities, and international development organizations and agencies. Discussions will focus on: 

• Provide a comprehensive overview of global sustainable finance trends and how they intersect with Vietnam's economic development priorities. 

• Showcase best practices in sustainable finance frameworks, standards, and implementation from both global and local perspectives.

• Address challenges and opportunities in the regulatory landscape for Vietnamese corporations. 

• Foster dialogue among key stakeholders to accelerate sustainable finance adoption in Vietnam. 

• Introduce collaborative solutions and tools being developed by FiinRatings and S&P Global Ratings to support market participants.
