From a global perspective combined with practical implementation in Vietnam, the webinar aims to support issuers, investors, and relevant stakeholders in preparing for the upcoming draft Decision by the Prime Minister on promulgating regulations on environmental criteria and certification for projects that are granted green credits and issued green bonds. 

Keynote Session | The Evolution of Sustainable Finance: Global Trends and Vietnam's Positioning 

FiinRatings is honored to be joined by Mr. Bertrand Jabouley, Head of Sustainable Finance, Asia-Pacific at S&P Global Ratings. He will deliver the keynote presentation, sharing insights on global policy trends, international standards, and strategic priorities amid growing pressure for green transition in emerging markets. 

Panel Discussion | Green Bonds and Sustainable Debt Instruments in Vietnam: Progress and Potential 

Following the keynote, a panel discussion will delve into key issues surrounding the development of Vietnam’s sustainable finance market—particularly green bonds and other sustainable debt instruments. 

From the perspectives of policymakers, financial institutions, and international investors, the speakers will explore what drives capital allocation decisions, the current challenges in assessing sustainable portfolios in Vietnam, and why the timely issuance of the Green Taxonomy is critical to unlocking large-scale green capital flows.

Speakers from S&P Global Ratings and FiinRatings will clarify global assessment criteria, the role of independent evaluators, and real-world application in Vietnam through notable transactions supported by FiinRatings, including deals with BIDV, I.D.I Corporation, and Hoa Binh – Xuan Mai Clean Water Company.
